I’m a freelance academic editor specializing in medicine, social sciences, and education. My background spans manuscript editing, technical communications, and instructional design, including knowledge bases, style guides, training materials, and documentation for global teams and clinicians. That experience sharpened something I bring to every manuscript: complex ideas don’t have to be hard to follow.
I’m particularly drawn to research with real-world stakes. Working in healthcare and global nonprofit organizations gave me an appreciation for research that reaches practitioners and policymakers, not just other academics.
With Narraworks, I support authors in the final stages before submission, helping them reach publication while keeping their voice and scholarly rigor intact. I also work with writers on professional and nonfiction projects, including reports, white papers, and other long-form content that benefits from a careful editorial pass.
In my free time, I enjoy vegetable gardening, cooking for my family, photography, and being outpaced by my twin daughters.
