Clarity-focused editing backed by a decade of expertise.
I'm an academic editor who helps researchers get their work published. My background blends academic editing with technical communications, including knowledge bases, style guides, and documentation for global teams and clinicians. That experience taught me that even the most complex ideas can be made clear and accessible. I'm as focused on your manuscript's structure and clarity as I am on the details.
My time with healthcare and humanitarian organizations also shapes my personal commitment to diversity and information accessibility, while also helping researchers communicate work that addresses real-world challenges.
I love editing because it's more than a means to an end. Good editing strengthens a writer's conviction: confidence in their own expertise. For writers whose work can shape policy, practice, or public understanding, that confidence matters. This is why we write (and edit!), and why the writer-editor relationship is important.
In my free time, I enjoy vegetable gardening (at times both a relaxing and humbling pursuit), cooking for my wife and kids, photography, and tinkering with home automation devices. And if these aren’t keeping me busy, it’s my twin five-year-old daughters who do.
With Narraworks, I continue to support teams and individuals across medicine, technology, social sciences, humanitarian fields, psychology, and more, helping authors achieve their publication goals while maintaining their unique voice and scholarly rigor.
I'm also building a blog here to share thoughts on editing, writing, and my process. Stay connected, as it’d be great to have you along.
